State Championships Meet Highlights
Congratulations to all of our gymnasts who competed in the SoCal South State Championships on November 14-16, 2014. All of our gymnasts did very well and many of them had their personal best scores. We also had several gymnasts place at this event which is very difficult and quite an accomplishment. In addition, our Level 3 team was ranked 2nd best team on the floor exercise out of 30 teams! Here are some of the highlights:
Sarah L.: 9.075 on floor, 8.75 on vault, and 8.45 on beam
Tayla: 9.075 on floor, 8.25 on beam, and 32.525 all-around
Emma: 9.05 on vault, 8.875 on beam, and 35.45 all-around

We also had two gymnasts who broke the SCGC all-time high score records. This means that they scored the highest score that any gymnast at our gym has ever scored in the following events:

Lauren beat the all-time highest floor score for level 3 with a score of 9.875
Alex beat the all-time highest all-around score for level 3 with a score of 37.65
